Music Ministry

The Sanctuary (Adult), Youth, Chapel, and Cherub Choirs

join together to sing for worship. 

 

Singing at St. Paul UMC

Crossfire is for children and youth in 1st through 8th grades.  This choir meets September through May of each year and breaks up into two groups at times to sing more age-appropriate music.  This choir sing at various times in worship throughout the year and meets on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. for practice. 

 

The Sanctuary (Adult) Choir (under the direction of Leslie Mabe) practices at 7:15 p.m. each Wednesday.  This choir sings and leads the congregation in music each Sunday at the 10:55 a.m. Traditional Worship Service. 

 

The Praise Band (under the direction of Rohna Harkless) practices at 5:00 p.m. most Sundays.  Youth in grades 9th through 12th grades as well as adults are welcome to sing with the Praise Band.  This group leads music for the 8:40 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service each Sunday.

 

You are invited to join any of our choirs to worship God in singing!   

 

Gentry Ringers     

The Gentry Ringers practice on Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m..  This is an adult handbell choir under the direction of Bev Hughes.  Like the chapel choir, the Gentry Ringers play in various worship services throughout the year.
